THINGS TO BRING
Bringing the following things will help you have a seamless experience at the London Hypertension Clinic:
-
Your health card
-
All of your medications, vitamins, supplements, natural health products
-
Your home BP monitor, if you have one
-
A list of your blood pressures, if you monitor at home, or at a pharmacy, or any other clinic
-
A list of any medications you have tried in the past, with details on how well they worked, or didn't, as well as any side-effects you may have experienced

WHAT TO EXPECT
After checking in at the main desk across from the elevator on level E5, you will go to the waiting room. When your clinic room is ready, a nurse will weigh you and measure your height. A series of blood pressures will be taken, and information you provide about your medications will be recorded. Since the clinic is in a teaching hospital, you may have the opportunity to be reviewed by a doctor in training, as well as Dr. Dresser. A plan will be developed to help you have the best blood pressure possible, with the lowest future risk for stroke, heart problems, and kidney issues, while helping you feel the best that you can.
